if im dissatisfied with my own work its because i know i could have done better, because i know that i struggled with something that i think i shouldnt struggle with, or i feel i was lazy, didnt work long enough or hard enough or dont know the techniques i should know by now, or i feel like it doesnt express my vision accurately enough

when i look at my art i see where i suceeded and where i failed

if im looking at your art i see a piece of art

and maybe sometimes i can see a bit here or there that you could have done better and if i have the skills maybe i can give you advice if you want it, because artists can help each other grow like that, but that’s not the same thing as actually disliking what you did

i think most people are the same way

if theyre not, then theyre a jerk, so you shouldnt feel bad because jerky opinions dont count
